About Me

I spent my nine months of pregnancy worried about how much my life would change once my son was born.  Life certainly changed, but contrary to what I was expecting, it changed for the better.  Turns out, I fell into the mommy role very naturally!  It helped that I have the absolute best husband in the world.  He has wanted to be a father since we got married in 2004 so he jumped right in with bottles, diaper changes, and everything else that comes along with parenthood.  We have shared every chore, every duty, every joy and every sorrow throughout our entire marriage and that has been the case as we have become parents as well.

I now struggle with the balance of family life and working life, just as every other working parent does.  I find myself worrying about my son when I'm at work and thinking about work while playing legos with my son at home.  Isn't that the American Dream?!

I love starting my morning with a steaming cup of coffee and ending the day with a nice glass of red wine.  My favorite moments every day included getting my son out of bed in the morning, picking him up from the babysitter and sitting on the couch with my husband every night.

I spend far too much time on babycenter.com and cafemom.com and have just added blogging as another distraction to keep me away from the things I need to be doing!
